The Annual Citywide Golden Luncheon is a cherished tradition that honors residents aged 55 and older for their invaluable contributions to the community. This special event brings together generations to celebrate wisdom, experience, and legacy. HEALTH & WELLNESS | AUGUST 2025
H.E.A.L Day unites over 50 neighborhoods and 70,000 residents along Centre Avenue for a day of community connection and fun. Activities include an Employment Resource Center, community exhibitors, free food, games, face painting, entertainment, prize giveaways, and more!

This event brings Pittsburgh communities together to build relationships and focus on holistic health through the 5 Pillars: mental, physical, spiritual, environmental, and economic well-being. With support from community partners, H.E.A.L Day offers resources and activities to educate, empower, and inspire simple lifestyle changes. Together, we can promote awareness, embrace healthier habits, and improve our quality of life.


HISTORIC HILL 5K | AUGUST 2025
The Historic Hill 5K was established to promote health and wellness among African-Americans in Pittsburgh while shining a light on health disparities in the Hill District and beyond. This event is a proud continuation of a legacy dedicated to fostering awareness and action toward better health outcomes.

The Historic Hill 5K Run/Walk/Ride offers a unique experience like no other. As participants travel along the iconic Centre Avenue, they’ll encounter historic landmarks and witness the incredible physical transformation of this cherished neighborhood. Whether you're an avid runner or a first-time walker, this event welcomes everyone! There are no age divisions, and the top three male and female runners will be awarded medals. Come join us for an unforgettable day of fitness, community, and celebration!
